It usually starts with you finding out something about someone
you know and it eats away at you, until you tell someone else about it...
It is very rarely for someone's good... but you..

Alas the damage inflicted is incredible...Look at the news today...
it is no longer information for our good.
It is just a bunch of people rushing to get the gossip out...

I find out daily that friends of mine have shared something personal about me
and usually it is so twisted around, that it is not even true...

We tend to run with an idea like:
A child is being verbally disciplined
by his mother for swearing at her...

It becomes...

"Did you hear about poor little jimmy getting the crap beaten out of him,
just because he had a different opinion, than his mother??..."

We have to be more careful about what we say

...The power of life and death is in the tongue..

A friend of mine committed suicide a couple of years ago, because of gossip...

A so called friend had shared something,
that he had overheard about him
and it got back to his wife and boss
and because no one believed him
He ended up taking his life...
He would have been alive today...
That person might as well have
pushed him from the building

Watch your tongues...
Think about the ramifications of your idle gossip...

And remember this...
What you say will always get back to the person,
you are maligning...Always!
It sometimes takes a little time,
but they will find out and they will know it's you...
